Anne of Green Gables

I would like to live in Prince Edward Island, to recite poems of love I haven't yet to feel, and ruin the plum pudding because I forgot the cheese cloth. I'd like to sit on the side of the red roads, and watch the carriages drive past, while I dream of sunsets and open windows. I'd like to take hour-long walks to forgotten graveyards, where those who've died help the flowers grow, when they're bored. To run across fields that stretch on and on forever, and then stop, to throw my arms up in the air, and laugh and laugh, to lie down in the grass, and laugh. I'd like to climb mountains and build houses, to have secret, confidental meetings with my best friend, about important things, like what we should name our spring, to wear cotton dresses, and learn to think by the fire. I think I'm going to go read Anne of Green Gables.
