White Stuff

Today we had a HUGE blizzard. There was so much snow everywhere. It was freezing. People in New York were asked to stay off the road, so my family had church at home. It was fun and I made a game to learn these Articles of Faith for my church since I need to memorize them. We decided we were going to play it after we shoveled the white stuff. So, I have been outside for most of the day, scooping up snow. I have to admit that it wasn't all work. I fell into the snow, and my mom piled snow from the walk on top of me. My sister and I tried to make a fort, but... it didn't work. I was also thinking of making a snow-man, but sometimes you just can't make yourself do things. I am really glad that we had snow because we haven't had it for a long long time, but I kind of wish that we had it on Monday. You can't blame me, I mean, I bet every kid wanted to have no school tomorrow. I hope that they'll think the roads are too icy. School can get to be really boring, especially when you don't do anything. Mondays are particularly depressing because you have a whole week ahead of you where its just going to school, doing homework, and sleeping. Still, I'm happy that the white stuff fell from the sky.
